I’m sharing this super EASY and delicious pasta! The ingredients are so simple, kid friendly, can be made in under 30 minutes, and you can make a huge batch to feed a big family or when you have guests over.
Some people call this ghoulash (here’s some info about ghoulash if you’re curious where this funny name comes from). I’ve also heard of similar recipes titled American Chop Suey (info about chop suey). I prefer to call it “Momma’s One Pot Pasta” since I usually add my own little twist. I hope you give it a try!
Total Time Prep/Total Time:
30 min.
Makes:
8-10 servings
Ingredients
Olive oil (I like to use a garlic infused oil)
2 pounds extra lean ground beef
2 yellow diced onions
2-3 cups chopped green bell pepper
4 cloves garlic chopped
29 ounces tomato sauce
5 14.5 ounce cans diced tomatoes (I usually used Hunt’s)
2 tablespoons chili powder
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
1 pound elbow macaroni , uncooked
Shredded Parmesan to top it off!

Directions:
Heat up pan to medium/high heat and add olive oil, garlic, onions, and bell pepper.
Add salt and pepper
Sautee for about 4-5 minutes until the veggies get soft.
Add the ground beef, breaking it up as you go. Cook the beef about 75% of the way through.
Add your tomato sauce and tomatoes And turn the heat up.
You want there to be enough liquid to cook the macaroni, so you can add a little more water or extra tomato sauce. It will thicken up after the noodles are done cooking.
Add 1 pound elbow macaroni to the boiling liquid and cook for about 8 minutes until the noodles are soft.
Let it simmer on low heat for a few kore minutes before serving.
Top it off with fresh Parmesan cheese, or your favorite cheese!
